Nathan’s speech!

Hi, my name is Nathan and this week’s topic is on a word that I didn’t know the meaning of. I chose the word SCULPT, it means to make something out of wood, rock, crystal, clay, or any other material. I chose this word because I like art and creating things. Also, sculpting is a favorite of my uncle Dom. He went to the Art Institute of Chicago, and he majored in art and sculpture. To sculpt something you first draw out your plan, then you get the supplies you need and you make it. In Art we get to do this with clay, and I think it’s very fun. My grandma and grandpa have some pots my mom sculpted when she was in college. All in all, I hope you like my speech and I hope you get to sculpt something special for yourself this year!
