Docs With Apps LLC is a new product developed collaboratively with Kendra Remington, DDS, myself, and our team of developers. Docs With Apps offers customizable branded mobile apps for orthodontists, focusing on improving patient compliance through the use of push-notification reminders. It’s hard to form a new habit like wearing elastics, but Docs with Apps is here to help. 😎
Docs With Apps include provides orthodontists with a solution to extend their care beyond the limits of their offices. Their personalized apps allow them to improve their personalized care for patients as well, sending them fun elastic notifications at four important times throughout the day, helping them get through treatment faster! We know how difficult it is for patients to develop new habits, like elastic wear, so to combat this, Docs With Apps developed a Push Notification Program to help patients help themselves. By sending four fun notifications daily from a practices’ app, we are helping them remember to wear, change, and replace their elastics.
Dr. Remington has her own app for her Guilford, CT practice, Remington Orthodontics. Dr. Remington’s app, “Smile-tastic!” features emoji-rich reminders (push notifications) and the response has been overwhelmingly positive!
As we know, most adolescents are attached to their phones 24/7, so to give them a tool to help them succeed utilizing a technology that they are never without is a win-win. Parents are thrilled that the app can take over the job of reminding their child to do something so that it is no longer their job to do it.
