This was a start from scratch project for this client. We provided art direction, created their logo, letterhead, website, business cards including web publishing training so that they can manage their own site “in house”. We provide on-going technical maintenance services for all of our clients so that they can focus on content while we keep their technology updated and performing optimally. Eventually we see this web presence moving towards a multimedia platform in 2015 showcasing live events and interactive on-line activities and campaigns.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Co founded by Diana Swancutt and Richard Horsley, the Boston Poverty Consortium is a nationwide, interdisciplinary network of scholars of religion, religious leaders, and activists working collaboratively to eliminate poverty and inequity, in their multiple dimensions. Consortium members do top-flight research on poverty and economics in relation to religion. They seek to produce knowledge that will effect poverty alleviation and equity.
“We also wish to increase our “public voice,” individually and collectively, in order to shift public understanding and practices toward poverty elimination and equity; and to work with the religious across multiple faiths and the political spectrum to encourage material activism for poverty elimination and equity. Our website povertyconsortium.org and twitter service @bostonpovertyc are open-source learning tools that also serve as clearinghouses for organizations and programs aimed at poverty alleviation and equity. Our focus is domestic.”
The Consortium is an open network–all who are interested are welcome to join us (you can sign up at the bottom of the home page). You’ll receive our periodic newsletter of coming events and new content.
