- In the last year there were more than 2.5 times posts and comments than last year
- Last year there were over 46 million downloads of WordPress
- There were 147,000 downloads every day of the year
- There are 26,000 plug-ins in the WordPress directory
- There were 336 themes added- 2.3 times more than last year

- WordPress 3.6 will be called Oscar in honor of jazz musician Oscar Peterson
- 9334 requested plug-ins to WordPress and 6758 were officially added
- Use of WordPress across the worldwide web is up 2.2% to 18.9% of the top 10 million sites
- There were 3x more sign ups on mobile devices
- 3.6 will support native video- this is huge!
- 3.6 will support native audio- this is totally awesome!
- 3.6 will feature improved menus, auto-saves, revision control- very cool!
