This week I had the pleasure of visiting the radio studio in New Jersey and the whole FYI team. Meet Sophie our new developer/designer in training. Sophie is many things here at the studio. She is a founding member & contributing editor at The SLAM, she is the amazing daughter of Lisa & Jack Caldwell from The Frame Shop on Wall Street and she was also immortalized in a commission portrait (drawing) I created many, many years ago of her when she was merely 2 years old, it was commissioned by her loving Grandfather Pete Somers. I will look for a photo of that drawing to show you- it was a creative rendering and expressive gesture. Sophie Caldwell is the new intern here at C & D Studios. She will be doing a lot of web and graphics training while building a cool new instructional video library on this website. We are creating a series of very short WordPress instructional screen-cast videos for everyone. She is also working hard at developing The SLAM which is in its infancy. We created some sweet T-Shirt designs today and prepared to feature more great artwork next week. Welcome Sophie!

Here is a look at FYI Business Consulting & Outsource Services’s new business cards, a simple info-graphic that was included in some marketing campaigns and a screenshot of the website. Please welcome Frankenberger Associates LIVE with their new interactive website. Their old site was really out dated both graphically and functionally. Sometimes it is hard to get to the work of managing your web presence. Now their site can be viewed on all devices (the old one had a lot of flash elements), it is socially integrated and they are developing a good following with their newsletter & blog. Plus, now their graphics are engaging and visually tell their story rather than working against their messaging. We did quite a bit of training together, social media graphics and business cards too. We are all really pleased with the results. Congratulations to Ted & Caryl! It is so great to see their web site working for them rather than against them.
